The Song of Simeon (Nunc Dimittis)
Description
Written for the 2012 Lutheran Summer Music Concert Choir, this work for choir and keyboard (either piano or organ) is the perfect end to any worship and music event. The story of Simeon’s faith and celebration of the newborn Christ-child—“a light to lighten the Gentiles, and to be the glory of the people Israel”—is one to inspire singers of all ages.
