Description
Christina Rosetti’s poem inspired this work that premiered in April 2025 at TCU in collaboration with Jeanine Krause, professional oboist and Historical Performance Practice specialist (and my fiancé!). The music depicts the excitement of what the future may hold while pondering “that first day, first hour, first moment of your meeting me.”
Scored for SATB divisi, piano, and oboe.
